ENVIRON® PC/PBT (polycarbonate/polybutylene terephthalate) compounds are alloys of amorphous polycarbonate and the semi-crystalline polybutylene terephthalate resin. Compounds within the ENVIRON® family can offer good chemical resistance, great impact and heat resistance, with outstanding aesthetic and processability characteristics. Impact-modified ENVIRON® grades can provide a high level of impact strength at low temperature. Within the ENVIRON® family of products there are also flame retardant grades (both non-halogenated and brominated), and UV (ultra-violet) stabilized grades for outdoor weatherable applications.
